This is a South African biscuit filled with coconut & chocolate.
If you love coconut & chocolate then this is a must try recipe. The biscuit is crunchy & sandwiched with (yes you thought right) CHOCOLATE!!! |
250gr butter
245gr castor sugar
340gr flour
5ml baking powder
20gr cocoa powder
60ml boiling water
170gr coconut
3ml salt
FILLING:
200gr milk chocolate (don’t add no butter!!!!!!!!!!)
METHOD:

METHOD:
- Cream your butter & sugar together in your mixing bowl
- Melt your cocoa powder with your boiling water
- Add the rest of your dry ingredients with your sugar mixture
- Add your cocoa mixture to the rest of your ingredients
- Scoop with a small ice cream scoop on your baking tray covered with baking paper
- Press them flat with a fork
- Bake @ 180°C for 12-15min.
- Leave to cool
- In the meantime melt your chocolate in the microwave on 30 sec intervals
- Mix your chocolate on every interval until melted
- Leave to cool until spreadable
- Sandwich your biscuits
- Store in a airtight container
