OKONOMIYAKI
(JAPANESE PANCAKE MEAL)
Our friend from Japan came & visit us and he spoiled me the weekend by making some Japanese foods.
We thoroughly enjoyed it. I love eating & trying out different cultures food.
It was quite interesting to eat Okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake). Unfortunately we did't have the Okonomiyaki sauce & only afterwards did I manage to find a recipe how to make the sauce. Next time I will defiantly try it & add some more vegetables & a fried eggs on top.
I am sure one can make it with ones own creativity. I see there are different types of recipes of Okonomiyaki (Japanese pancakes) on the internet. You can really just experiment with your own favourite ingredients. I think the secret would be the Okonomiyaki sauce & the mayonnaise which is traditionally squirted on top of the Japanese pancake.
