I have been living for 5 months in Slovenia now & the community has been so kind to me & my husband. They have taken us in as one of their own & every month we have a community gathering.
This is where I saw these beauties for the first time.
The name of this biscuit is Breskvice which means "peach".
As you can see these biscuit have a peach colour & they also use peach jam in their filling.
However these biscuits have got alcohol in them and if you are not a lover of an alcohol flavoured biscuit then just simply leave the rum out of the recipe.

Do this immediately once they come out of your oven as it is easier to work with. Once they get harder they tend to break easily.
Work gently!!!

Prepare your filling
Please taste your filling and adjust according to your own taste. I would start with a little bit of rum & then go according to your own taste.
